i stayed here on the weekend of the 23/7/2011..i have been a frequent stayer at hotel for numerous years.unfortunatly i will not be stayin again.our room and bed were shakin with the noise and vibrations from disco.fire and smoke alarms were going off all night.our room was above the main door to club and temple bar street.did not sllep one bit all night.rang reception a few times and got no satisfaction.i know we were in temple bar but they could at least have sound proof windows.walls were filthy and carpet was ripped in places in room

This whole hotel is a mistake! There is a night club on the ground floor so the noise at the hotel is dofficult to stand. Absolutely to avoid!!

    Good

Location was perfect. Good value for money.

Some staff not very friendly. No tea or coffee facility's in room. Windows wouldn't open, had to change room. Rooms a little run down. Bathroom not very clean. Some marks on bed clothes.

    So many things to do.

The sound barrier was so poor we could not sleep. Beds are too hard.

    Central location; reasonably cheap

Extremely noisy. Advertised wireless was not available in room Tap in sink not working prepaid for breakfast but this was not available until after 9 which was no good to me as I had meetings at 9.

Location was perfect right in centre of temple bar, plus food in bar was lovely, very good for entertainment live music etc,so would reccomend it for anyone....

    Good

The location was ideal for what we needed from our trip

The young girl on reception was very rude and answered her phone instead of dealing with our check-in...she then did not explain anything...just told us our room number an left us to it...only we came down to hand our keys in we heard another couple check-in an it was a different lady in the evening explain all about breakfast etc...also the lift was out of use because ot was full of cleaning trolleys!!

The guitar player in the bar

I just thought that the staff were not overly bothered with you but we were not looking for a luury break, just somewhere to stay after a concert

    Exceptional

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the staff were vey friendly. I was with my daughter and her 2 friends as they were going to Glee in the o2, however the noise from the aftermat of the disco was not nice with shouting and fighting. I would like to stay there again but perhaps in a room at the back of the hotel, where, I hope it would be quieter - anyway I have no other choice now as my daughter and her friends are hooked on the location and the value for money. Thank you Bridie

    Very good

The room was clean, and the bed very comfortable, the room was very reasonably priced

It was hard to block out the noise from the street, the hotel is in a very busy night spot, also the walls are quite thin, I could hear the people going up and down the halls and in their rooms

    Good

The continental breakfast was excellent considering how basic the hotel is.

    Some staff weren't very pleasant

Just the Location in Temple Bar

Apart from the Location in Temple bar is what this Hotel only offers. There is no Hotel Parking I had to pay €22 for over night car parking. Hotel carpets are dirty, bring your own bed lining, poor rooms. The Night Club of the Hotel downstairs you might aswell slept in the Night Club, noise unbelievable loud. Its not a Hotel for Families or children slamming doors echo through the walls. Basically make sure you have enough Alcohol in your system so you will be able to sleep and 2 paracetamol tablets in the morning for your sore head. You'll forget getting up for breakfast because they don't do room service as the porter didn't know or understand because of his poor english. Location, Location, Location is what that Hotel only offers.
